The infamous WooCommerce Subscriptions ‘Cancel’ button causes many stores multiple types of issues.
While some stores prefer to have the cancellation flow as easy as possible, other stores prefer to require a reason for cancellation or simply prompt their users to click twice to prevent accidental cancellations.
I’ll attempt to outline a couple of different options below!
Requiring a Second Click 👆
Step 1: Download the ‘Cancel Subscription Confirmation’ plugin.
Step 2: Upload the downloaded plugin onto your site. (Plugins > Add New > Upload)
Step 3: That’s ALL!

Requiring a Cancellation Reason❓
Step 1: Download the ‘Cancel Subscription Confirmation – Cancellation Reason’ plugin.
Step 2: Upload the downloaded plugin onto your site. (Plugins > Add New > Upload)
Step 3: Go to your WooCommerce Subscriptions settings to enable this option: WooCommerce > Settings > Subscriptions > ‘Miscellaneous’ > ‘Ask for the cancellation reason’
Step 3: That’s ALL! (again)

These are most certainly not the only options you have in regards to the ‘Cancel’ button in WooCommerce Subscriptions, but they should definitely help.
